Our Story
Living in Denmark for over five years, we were constantly inspired by the Danish way of life. From their culture of collaboration, to their design, culinary and communities rooted in principles of togetherness, intention, sustainability, innovation. We always knew that we wanted to continue to bring these practises back to her home and lifestyle in Northern Ontario while creating a meaningful impact.
The Design
The design of the Lake House combines Northern and Nordic elements of neutral tones, natural light, local materials, and nature. We believe the little touches matter. You’ll find reclaimed pine floors from Ontario’s waterways, Scandinavian decor from Denmark, and landscaping inspired by native plants from Northern Ontario.
The Experience
The Lake House has everything guests need to embrace Nordic design but, it’s also surrounded by some of the best Northern wilderness, wellness and culinary experiences. During the stay, we also provide the opportunity for guests to experience Northern Ontario’s rugged landscapes, vast forests and freshwater lakes. We are proud to do our best to connect you to other local businesses within the region.
